PURSUING THE DREAM...

My name is Chad Partain and I am available for photography of all types in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  I specialize in sports photography, including dynamic sports photography, but am also available for senior and family portraits.

I’ve been married for 20 years and have two teenagers who have had more pictures taken of them in their short lives than my wife and I have in both of ours combined.  I’ve always been creative and visual.  I have a degree in graphic design, but my artist’s eye is always working.  From designing my landscaping to building and painting yard art for Halloween and Christmas, my creativity is always in overdrive.  I bring that artist’s composition to my photography.  I am always looking to curate the perfect shot.  I see the picture in my mind before I shoot it, and I keep shooting until I get it.  I view my photography as an extension of my creativity.  

While I have a degree in graphic design and have worked in that field, for most of the past fifteen years, I have been a stay-at-home dad to my two kids.  In that role, I became the family history-keeper.  All of our photos for vacation, recitals, special occasions or sports activities were all taken by me, and over the course of the years, I have honed my craft.  Documenting our family life has been an important part of my life and the memories it has created tell the story of our family.  I want to help you memorialize your own story.  My style is casual and fun.  I’m a good storyteller and a good listener and I use both of those skills in my photography.  I find photography to be fun and enjoyable, and I want my clients to feel the same way.
